Brothers Complete line of nutritionally sound pet food was conceived by brothers Pierre and Aaron Earling. As proprietors of The Doggy Store in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, these quality-conscious brothers stressed good nutrition as the key to a pet’s health and well-being. From the beginning, they had recommended foods to their clientele that were a cut above the common fare. However, they believed the nutrition level could be improved upon, and determined they would formulate a product on their own that would surpass anything currently available. Controlling the entire process from design of the food to its delivery and storage was only natural given their commitment to excellence and their love of pets, whether their own or their customers. Their goal was to make the healthiest dog food possible without making it too expensive for the average family to afford. Marketing an illusion to maximize profit at the expense of the dogs or their owners, as is so often the case, was just not an option for Pierre and Aaron. By focusing on quality rather than costs, and creating a balanced nutrient profile rather than just throwing nutrients in as window dressing, they have designed a healthier food. Brothers Complete is a grain free, white potato free dog food, and best of all dogs LOVE the taste of it! And with their unique “direct to the public” marketing strategy, they’ve managed to keep the cost in perspective. Pierre and Aaron are proud of their accomplishments, but even more satisfying is the constant stream of customers praising the health benefits of the Brothers Complete products and telling them how much their pets love it.

Who's who at Brothers Complete?

Pierre Earling: You could call him the brains and fire of the operation – always looking for the next big thing and never settling for second best.  From an early age Pierre demonstrated a positive understanding of business and high caliber personal and business ethics. Growing up he always loved his household dogs and now, with a dog of his own (JP, a Cairn Terrier mix), he cares enough to strive for what is best for his customer's dogs and cats.  He currently holds the position of CEO at Brothers Complete and handles all administrative back-end, day-to-day operations including website management, shipping and receiving, accounting, brand design and marketing – in other words, “Jack of all Trades.”  You may not see him a lot out front in The Doggy Store, the family-run retail side of the business,  but he is always behind the scenes like oil in a car making sure everything in the business is running smoothly.

Aaron Earling: Company-anointed people person, Aaron puts a smiling face on all local Brothers Complete customers.  Aaron’s has a vast knowledge of pet nutrition and is constantly conducting research to find ways that Brothers Complete products can be improved.  Straight forward and never beating around the bush, he will tell you what you need to know about pet nutrition without sugar coating it.  His dog (Talent, a Chinese Crested) is a local rock star who does spins for Brothers Complete dog food, literally. Aaron currently is Chief Operating Officer at Brothers Complete and is the in-house pet nutrition expert. You will find Aaron working out front at The Doggy Store helping customers understand what high-quality pet food is all about.

P. Marisa Komarek: Marisa has always been hard working and entrepreneurial. As a single mother she overcame every challenge life presented doing whatever was necessary to support her family – including running her own clothing business for over ten years. Once her children were all in their twenties, she decided to sell her clothing business and start a new endeavor based on her love of dogs. She started The Doggy Store in Fort Lauderdale, FL with her son Pierre, and soon her oldest son Aaron joined the effort. Marisa uses the strength, determination, and realism that she developed through necessity while raising her 3 children and running her clothing business, to keep the business focused on customer service and maintaining the highest standards in all facets of its operation. She is an accomplished water color artist and constantly applies her impressive creative talents along with her well-refined mother’s intuition and her hard-won life lessons to the business to keep it evolving and improving – to better serve its customers while maintaining its ultimate mission and goal of creating a win-win-win situation… for the pets, their owners, and for her own family.

Steven: The newest member of the team, Steven is translating his background in human nutrition to the pet nutrition world.  Eagerly and easily soaking up a vast amount of pet nutrition knowledge from the Earling brothers, he is your go-to guy for any pet nutrition question. Steven also helps Pierre manage some of the major day-to-day tasks where it takes two to tango – like unloading 40,000 lbs. of Brothers Complete dog food from an 18 wheeler down at the warehouse. You will find Steven out front at The Doggy Store answering all our customers’ questions.
